Steps to Certification
Step1: Complete and send in your application to our office. You can do this online or by downloading the application from here
Step 2: Our Rabbi will contact you to review your application and assist you with the application details and process
Step 3: The next step is to review your list of ingredients and the suppliers you source them from
Step 4: After this Star-K will provide you with an estimate of the fees
Step 5: Star-K will arrange to have an inspection of your facility which includes a thorough review of all ingredients, all plant equipment, and manufacturing processes
Step 6: If your facility can be certified, Star-K will submit a contract proposal outlining all agreed upon terms for kosher certification
Step 7: After payment of fees and all terms and issues have been satisfied, STAR-K issues a letter of certification, authorizing use of the Star-K symbol on the products approved
